Location: Summer Village of Pelican Narrows

Position Overview:

The Summer Village of Pelican Narrows is seeking a responsible and organized Hall Caretaker

to manage hall rentals, oversee maintenance, and ensure the facility is in top condition

throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities:

● Rental Management:

○ Coordinate hall bookings, collect rental fees, and manage damage deposits.

○ Deliver rental payments to the Village CAO.

● Cleaning & Maintenance:

○ Ensure the hall is thoroughly cleaned after each rental.

○ Perform a full cleaning of the hall at the start of each season.

○ Empty outdoor garbage bins regularly.

● Equipment Management:

○ Set up and take down seasonal equipment (e.g., volleyball nets).

● Facility Maintenance:

○ Schedule septic tank maintenance as required.

○ Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, submitting invoices to the Village CAO.

○ Conduct and record monthly fire system tests.

● Grounds Monitoring:

○ Regularly inspect the exterior grounds and notify the Village CAO of any required

repairs.
